Isn't this cake amazing?! Andrea MADE it herself!!
Unfortunately, the weather has been TERRIBLE for the last couple weeks, raining nearly every day. They scheduled pony rides from 11:30-12:30, but as the skies darkened, Andrea contacted the owner and asked him to come a bit early. He arrived at 11 and this pony actually got out of the van...yes, there was no trailer!
As Samantha hopped up on the horse for her first ride, it started to sprinkle. The man was kind enough to continue to give rides to the children who arrived early in spite of the rain. Once it started really coming down, we called it quits with the pony, but so glad we got some cute pictures of Samantha with Snickers (aka Buddy)!
Since we were stuck inside, Andrea put on The Lorax for the kiddos and they enjoyed popcorn, cotton candy, pretzels, and lots of other sugary treats!
Andrea's husband braved the rain to grill hotdogs and hamburgers. The face painter and balloon animal artist arrived shortly after and that definitely made the birthday girl HAPPY!
After everyone was painted, we sang "Happy Birthday" to Samantha and cut this gorgeous cake. It was a great party, and Andrea and Chris really made it special for Samantha!

Lastly, Samantha opened her presents. I love this shot of her because it truly captures her excitement!!
