CB Turns 2!

One morning in mid July, I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful little girl who just happened to be turning 2 the same day my little Weasel did:) Clara Beth's mom had a few different outfits and some fun props for the photo session. We started slowly, but really picked up the fun when the bubbles and paint appeared! I probably took about 300+ pictures in just over an hour, about 200 which were useable. (Hey, 2-year olds move fast!)

Family Photos

On Saturday morning, I had the opportunity to take some family pictures. A friend from my running club was kind enough to recommend me to HER friend to do this session (and I'm so grateful!). We started with some more formal shots, but turned it into a fun session with great ideas from the mom. Their house was absolutely gorgeous and I fell in love with their beautifully landscaped backyard. The children were so well behaved and easy to photograph too! Here are some of my favorite shots!

A Great Opportunity for Practice

On Sunday morning, I met up with my friend, Leanne, and her family to take some pictures at the New River MCAS Marina. We had both been scanning the internet for ideas of cute family poses, and I think we were somewhat successful. Her husband and kiddos were so cooperative despite the heat (even at 8:30!) and didn't fuss at all.

My friend, Kathleen, purchased a session as a father's day gift for her father-in-law. Her idea was to have some pictures of her father-in-law with his sons and their daughters. Cute, right?! I loved the idea, so on Saturday morning, I headed down to Surf City and we took a few pictures at a couple locations. Luckily we did this at 8:15, otherwise I think the heat would have been too intense to keep everyone happy for the hour! Here are some of the shots I got:
